❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We are huge fans of Pop Tarts, and as kids, these were our favorites. We have never tried to make them, but I had some pastry dough in the refrigerator and said why not?! Most people make these with pie crust, but I thought this dough might be good, and I was right. We loved them!
SWAPS
Now, if you love other kinds of pop tarts, you can easily change out the filling! We always loved the strawberry ones, and I will try to make those next. I think you could easily leave the frosting off of these, too. They are delicious either way.

⭐TIP
We used an egg wash on these pop tarts, and it did help make them golden brown. It is important to poke holes in the top pastry so they don’t puff up too much.
