Jam packed with cookie pieces, toffee bits, coconut, peanut butter cups, pecans, and more, this creamy vanilla kitchen sink ice cream is bursting at the seams with deliciousness.

Kitchen Sink Ice Cream
The other day, while making a batch of Kitchen Sink cookies, my friend Lynne asked if I’d tried making a Kitchen Sink Ice Cream. Challenge accepted, my friend, and THANK YOU for the suggestion!
This is fully loaded, couldn’t cram more in there, exploding with awesomeness, creamy vanilla ice cream as filled as can be with cookie pieces, toffee bits, toasted coconut, peanut butter cups, pecans, and whatever else you might possibly want to add.

The most popular question I get is whether it’s possible to make ice cream without a machine. The answer is YES. You can make ice cream without a machine. Find the full directions here!

Everything But the Kitchen Sink Ice Cream
Ben & Jerry’s describes their ‘everything but the kitchen sink ice cream’ as “A Collision of Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Creams mixed with Peanut Butter Cups, Fudge-Covered Toffee Pieces, White Chocolatey Chunks & Fudge-Covered Almonds”.
Oh bless you, Ben and Jerry, but I think our homemade version is much better. I mean, cookies; ours has cookies and toasted coconut, among other things!
And the beauty of making this at home is that you can make it YOURS by adding anything else you want and omitting anything that doesn’t suit your fancy. Feel like toasted almonds would make it sing? Go on and add them! Not so keen on coconut? Kick it to the curb!

To make this ice cream that has a little bit of everything but the kitchen sink, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- heavy cream
- whole milk
- sugar
- kosher salt
- vanilla extract
And any or all of the following add-ins:
- cookies
- nuts
- coconut
- miniature chocolate chips
- toffee bits
- miniature m&ms
- miniature peanut butter cups
- chopped candy bars
- sprinkles

Combine the cream, milk, sugars, salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
While the ice cream is churning, gather 2 cups of your favorite add-ins. When the ice cream finishes churning, scoop a portion of it into an airtight container and sprinkle generously with the assorted add-ins. Repeat the layers until all of the ice cream and add-ins have been used.
Place in the freezer until ready to serve. Serve with extra cookies or toppings, if desired.

I have more ice cream scoops than I can keep track of at this point and I definitely play favorites. This ice cream scoop does the best job ever of cutting through firm ice cream and still delivers a pretty scoop. It gets bonus points for being one of the least expensive scoops I own as well.
